FAQ’s

The following information will answer many questions you have about booking events with Get Loose. Please refer to this page anytime you have a question. If you cannot find the answer you are looking for please contact us.

Bookings & Payment

How To Book

Experiences are subject to availability and they do get booked out. When you have decided on a package or experience you would like, we will confirm availability and then send you a booking confirmation.

Your booking is only secured once a booking confirmation email has been issued and a deposit has been paid. The deposit to secure your booking is normally $200-$400 for venues and $800 for boats. Some experiences require a larger deposit. Please refer to the price guides for clarification. The deposit (and any payment instalments) are deducted from the total due 10 days before the event.

How To Pay (Payment Methods)

Payments methods include Bank Transfer (no transaction fees apply), Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal (transaction fees apply).

Balance Deadline

The balance is due 10 days before your event (unless specified otherwise in your booking confirmation email). You have until then to confirm the number of guests attending and make any changes to your package.

Some packages require an additional payment instalment after the initial deposit. The deposit and any payment instalments are deducted from the total so the balance is the difference remaining.

No additional guests can be added after the balance deadline (however if approved, fees may apply). Please understand we have deadlines to adhere to with a large network of suppliers and payment terms we have agreed to.

Bonds (For Damage)

A $500 bond is required for most boats (some of the more expensive boats require a $1,000 bond). Select venues require a $500 bond too but that is rare. This is due at the same time as your balance and will be refunded after the event if no damage occurs.

Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because we are making reservations for you, rejecting other bookings, and passing your payments onto suppliers immediately. Please only pay the deposit if you are ready to commit to the booking as we are unable to accommodate refunds, change of dates or suppliers. We have a strict administrative process, so this is not negotiable. Our policy is in line with the industry standard and our terms are generally much simpler than some suppliers would normally require (such as larger deposits and early payment deadlines).

Food

Dietary requests will be passed onto suppliers to cater for. We require a list of your dietary requests (preferably with the corresponding guests’ names) to be submitted by the date of balance due for your event, so we can submit them to the suppliers in time. We cannot take dietary requests after this deadline because all food orders will have been finalised.

Boats

Beverages

The beverage menu varies with each boat.

BYO beverages are permitted on some boats.

Please refer to the relevant Boat Profiles for information on the beverage menus.

On BYO charters, some boats allow you to deliver your beverages prior to the cruise. This is subject to availability so please enquire about this option before the date of balance due for your event, and we will advise availability on the week of your event.

Food

The food menu varies with each boat.

BYO food is available on most boats.

Please refer to the relevant Boat Profiles for information on the food menus.

Music

Most boats play music through their inhouse speakers.

Some boats allow you to plug in your own music.

Please refer to the relevant Boat Profiles for information on music.

Decorations

All decorations are BYO at commencement of the cruise. Any decorations must be removed after the cruise please.

Capacity

The capacity of each boat includes your entertainment (hosts/hostesses), so please consider that the entertainment you choose will affect the number of guests that can attend.

Wharfs

If the wharfs are booked out at the time listed in your booking confirmation we will book the closest possible time/location and let you know. During peak season we experience a shortage of wharves available and it is possible we may need to amend the booking times slightly.

Staff

All boats include skippers and deck-hands. They do not affect the capacity of the boats so you do not need to consider this. You will not incur any additional expenses for the skippers and deck-hands as they are already included in the price of your cruise.

Weather

Cruises proceed in all weather conditions, as the vessels have shelter and can withstand rain, wind and hail. Only in extreme weather conditions that the boat operator deems the charter unsafe will the charter will be rescheduled to an alternate date.

Age Of Guests

We do not organise 18th birthday parties.

If any guests under the age of 18 are attending they require an adult guardian and no consumption of alcohol is permitted.

Venues

Beverages

The beverage menu varies with each venue.

No BYO beverages are permitted at any of our party venues.

Discounts for pregnant non-drinkers only, are subject to approval (normally $20pp, maximum 4 guests).

Food

The food menu varies with each venue.

No BYO food is permitted with the exception of small snacks or desserts subject to approval with each venue.

Music

Most venues play music through their inhouse speakers.

Some venues allow you to plug in your own music.

Decorations

All decorations are BYO at commencement of the event and must be removed after the event. Some venues apply conditions so please refer to the relevant Venue Profiles for more info or contact us for clarification.

Guests (Attendees)

Male guests are permitted at Hens parties and female guests are permitted at Bucks parties. But please advise us of the ratio of guests in advance as some venues may have conditions.

We do not organise 18th birthday parties and no guests under the age of 18 are permitted at any of our venues.

Entertainment

Waiters/Waitresses

Male Waiters are topless, but you can request them to be clothed.

Female Waitresses are lingerie or topless, but you can request them to be clothed.

They are hosts and entertainment. At licensed venues and boats, they can also provide drink service if they carry RSA Cards but this is not guaranteed, hence we label them as ‘hosts’ for legal reasons.

All staff are allocated by Get Loose and our suppliers. For operational reasons we do not allow clients to select staff. If we offer to accept requests this does not guarantee your requests will be fulfilled – no agency can offer this guarantee. For insurance, licensing and operational purposes we also do not allow you to bring your own event staff without approval.

Strippers

Male Strippers and Female Strippers are choreographed performers who arrive at the events for their scheduled shows and then depart after those shows. Strip shows are typically 10-15 minutes max.

All staff are allocated by Get Loose and our suppliers. For operational reasons we do not allow clients to select staff. If we offer to accept requests this does not guarantee your requests will be fulfilled – no agency can offer this guarantee. For insurance and licensing purposes we also do not allow you to bring your own event staff without approval.

Drag Queens

Drag Queens are flamboyant and entertaining hosts. As a general rule they perform 2 songs and co-ordinate any games you wish to provide. We can also provide a list of suggested games for you.

We normally schedule the Drag Queens for 1-2 hours at venues, and 1-3 hours on boats. The duration depends on any other entertainment you have included in your package.

Life Drawing

Life Drawing workshops are approximately one-hour duration. Your nude male model is also your workshop co-ordinator. He will bring drawing pads and pencils with him, so you don’t need to bring anything with you.

Burlesque Workshops

Burlesque Dance workshops are one-hour duration. They require no experience, and they are no-sweat so you can wear anything you want (high heels welcome). Your instructor will get the Bride infront of the group and teach everyone sultry choreographed dance moves to get you loose! No costumes are provided but they are not necessary.

Puppetry Show

The famous Puppetry of the Penis act is a 20-minute show where the solo performer demonstrates various positions and shapes with his willy along with comedic narration. They are entertainers but they are not strippers with toned bodies, dancing or music.

Games

All games are BYO. You are welcome to send us a list of your games in advance if you would like your host to be briefed. For ideas, see our Hens Party Games and Bucks Party Games.

Transport

Pricing

The price guides listed on our website are based on transfers within approximately 50km of the party destinations.

Party Shuttle Buses

Our party shuttle buses are decked out with sound & lighting.

BYO beverages are welcome, but cans only please.

We allocate the size of bus required for your group based on the number of guests you have. Sizes vary from 14 seaters to 50 seaters.

We only book the buses when you have confirmed the number of guests attending and paid the balance in full. If we are unable to find a bus available at that time we will advise you promptly and make alternative arrangements.

We do not accommodate bus colour or size requests. If you wish to choose a particular colour or size, please contact one of our suppliers to book the bus directly. This is because we only book your bus once your number of guests is confirmed and availability is limited at that time. They are also subject to change if circumstances beyond our control require us to change the vehicle.

Stretch Hummers

Our hummers are decked out with sound & lighting.

All vehicles are BYO beverages and bottles are welcome. We suggest you bring disposable drinking glasses incase there are insufficient glasses available onboard.

We allocate the size of vehicle required for your group based on the number of guests you have. Sizes vary from 12 seaters to 24 seaters.

We only book the vehicles when you have confirmed the number of guests attending and paid the balance in full. If you have more guests than the vehicles can accommodate, then we will book 2 slightly smaller sized vehicles instead of one larger vehicles. If we are unable to find vehicles available we will advise you promptly and make alternative arrangements.

We do not accommodate vehicle colour or size requests. If you wish to choose a particular colour or size, please contact one of our suppliers to book the vehicle directly. This is because we only book your vehicle once your number of guests is confirmed and availability is limited at that time. They are also subject to change if circumstances beyond our control require us to change the vehicle.
