Lawn Bowls Sydney

The fittingly named Rock n Bowl, barefoot bowling in the Manly Bowling Club is your go to North Sydney option for a day of rolling balls towards other balls and socialising with some great music. Large groups (16+) can even join a tournament against other parties on the day – nothing like a spot of healthy competition to bring your group together!

A 1 hour and 45 minute session here starts at $25 per person, which includes games officers & all equipment. Pricing is slightly higher then the other venues listed but they make up for it with their extensive budget friendly menu – which includes a wide variety of eats from shared party platters (cheese boards!), buffet menus (did someone say Sunday roast?) and an a la carte menu with delicious burgers from only $10!

This venue is only a short walk from Manly Wharf where we can organise a boat party kick-off for you – or catch a ferry to the CBD and party at one of our private venues!

An oldie but a goodie – this Bondi establishment just recently turned 80. That’s not to say it’s just for the retirees – boasting an al-fresco space, a large craft beer menu and pumping music it’s exactly what your pre-evening party needs to get the day started!

This barefoot bowls starts at $150 per group of 10, with menu offerings consisting of platters of buffalo wings, sausage rolls, falafels and more. Or opt for one of their fat burgers, the vegan schnitty burger and chips being our choice!

This is a lively entertainment venue to kick off your party weekend before heading to our city venues for an evening of drinks, food, shows and dancing (if you have any energy left after all that bowling). Or head to Watsons Bay Ferry Wharf where we can organise a private boat party to pick you up!

The Greens in North Sydney is the perfect Barefoot Bowls for the unorganised, last-minute party planners (we can relate)! Bowls here are organised on a walk-in basis – just give them a call in the morning to check availability for the day and head on down!

This also may be the best looking venue of our bunch, surrounded by palm trees and harbour views making your budget Aussie activity feel a little bit fancy! As if you needed any more convincing they also offer, wait for it – cocktail jugs! Sangria, aperol spritz, pimms, you name it they’ve got it – to share amongst your girls and guys.

Head over to Clovelly Bowling Club for a day of barefoot bowls with some of the best stunning coastal ocean views Sydney has to offer – this place is iconic for a reason.

Make use of the free BBQs available here – BYO meats and veggies are the way to go for lunch, makes feeding a large group easy and cheap ($5 snags from woollies on some wonder white are our guilty pleasure)! Then grab an icy cold beverage from their extensive bar to wash it all down.

And finally one of our personal favourites an inner-West institution Marrickville Bowling Club! This venue is nearly 120 years old – but with the live music on weekends, tasty pub style classic feeds (think parmies, fish and chips & burgers) and a myriad of bevvies on tap you wouldn’t think it! And if you’re super organised (lets be honest though – you’re probably not), they even have a canape style menu and drinks package if you want to turn this basic, budget activity a little bit bougie!

With barefoot bowls here starting at a breezy $15 per person – you can have 2-hours of inflation free fun here! Bonus it’s also close to the CBD, where you can kick on to your Get-Loose party venue!
